A few hours ago I tested my new cooling setup with some new isolation and so the temps are much better than before with my single stage:

-40°C on desktop with standard vcore with an Winchester 3200+:

Great ! That is the next project for you my friend

Testing some more of my 3000+ Venice E6 NBBWE 0602 APAW:

    3725.88 MHz @ 1,904 V
maximum htt: 433.66 MHz x 8 under my single stage @ -30°C !!! Great memcontroller....
I had a validation of 3732 MHz and 3739 MHz but both are incorrect Will try more next days....

    @ bruce
I also don´t know the stepping of that fx-53 but the cpu didn´t like much vcore, 1.8 volts are the maximum under dual cascade....

Nice 3000+. My 3500+ LBBWE 0602GPMW sucks bigtime, but maybe it'll be tested with some dice next weekend anyway I always have bad luck with BW

1.8v max? I ran 1.98v through the FX53, just for punishment The FX55 got 2v, wanted to see 2.xxx in cpuz :p

Btw, did you buy from the American dude who sold some Opty 150's Buy-it-now for like $40?

My 3200+ winchester did 460htt @ +15c I remember. I think your chip is better. Anyone knows the FSB s939 WR?

460 htt ? Dont know but that isn´t possible. Max is 456 on the DFI.
There is one screen in the net with that 456 mhz htt but with multi 4 or 5, that is total because of the athlon64 memcontroller which changed something so cpu-z says 456 mhz but in reality there are only 400 mhz or 405.

did you know the thread here in xs with that fx-53 from claws and blaster....seek it its from march 2007.

Yes I´m the man who sold 5 of that opteron 150 for $36 they will arive in the next weeks

Max 456 on dfi? I used a Dfi VENUS Anyway, I may be wrong. Maybe I had it at 455 and it rebooted at 460. I can try it one more time next weekend, just for fun

Didn't see the thread you're asking for. I don't think I was very active here at the time.

looks like some of these dfi expert boards are really good... i'm surprised that a winchester can handle such high htt-clocks...

Highest i was able to go on a sandiego (3700+) is 395 htt, anything higher and it would hard lock up .

    stepping is KAB3E, therefore no good at subzero .. it's a shame cause it's a good air performer, 3.3ghz @ 1.55V

That is amazing !!! More than 550 MHz HTT
The clocks with that FX are impressive but it must be under water or air.
