    I think with a Yorkie with LN2 and voltmodded 8800GT SLI with appriopriate cooling (DICE?) could do some serious damage to the ORB.

    Would be interesting to see how core clock scales with voltage on 65nm manufacturing process.

    bloody 680i chipset soo many unnecessary headaches >> finally wrestled it into 3.96GHz 3D stable for today's bench session





    3DMARK01 is a lot of fun >> at the end i couldn't get my LL to ~920 that i had before LOL but it turned out OK in the end

    looks at the nature FPS in the end

    so what does 20k in 3dmark06 equate to in avg fps in crysis at 1920x1200 with aa? does crysis/vista know how to utilize 1GB of mem from sli?

    hehehehe i learnt a thing or two about RAM tweaking now but i'm afraid this 680i was hardly stable and nothing other than straight 1:1 would finish 3D runs....even though this RAM will do 590MHz 4-3-3-x on 680i as tested in another thread of mine >> 'tis a shame as that would help in '01/'05/AM3 at least

    it would be nice to have SLI drivers on X38 that's for sure

    Where is big_sam when we need him? I ordered a pair of EVGA SSC 8800GT's (fastest factory clocked cards I could find). Should be in later this week.

    should of just waited for the G92 / 8800 GTS 512mb
    with 128 SP's on 65nm.....

    The SSC is G80/A2 core with 112 SP's.....320-bit

    Dec. not that far off for nVidia 2nd launch.....
