How big an effect does the CPU speed have on 3dmark06? I'm running the SLI GT's at 742/1836/2100 (core/shader/mem) and am only getting around 15.6k with a Q6600 @ 3.15ghz, 350FSB 5-6-6 timings
. Since I just got this 680i SLI I haven't messed much with the CPU/RAM end of things yet. Does it really make that huge a difference in it? I'm also running my normal antivirus/antispyware programs/etc. in the background, so maybe that's it?
I was able to let it run for a good 15 minutes before I got bored and shut it off (Crysis GPU bench) at these speeds
