    I have my Transpiper modded... milled out the center ridge in the middle of the transpiper joining block and ran the heatpipe attached to the PWM through the middle. It gets more contact with the 2 heat pipes leading off to the finned part and with the two cases ive used (Antec p182 and Silverstone TJ09 it lines it right up to sit behind the 120mm rear exhaust fan. Works very well, During torture i can feel the transpiper get warm to the touch.
    I wasn't able to to any comparative temperature tests between the two configurations but I definitely like the mod

    Oh and I went and cannibalized an old cpu cooler and took its 60mm fan... didn't have enough room to mount it on the PWM but i have it zip tied in blowing air on to the chipset, temps dropped 6 oC under load on the chipset

    let's see a pic... i thought you mounted something by the IO plate... the transpiper and non- versions differ in that area as the transpiper version has a gap between some of the fins on the HS over the PWM, whereas the non- does not.

    what you mean? i have some 60mm fans myself, and i think even a 50mm...

    BE, what's with the video link in your sig... you should at least hyperlink it so it shows what i'm clicking on!! I was expecting dancing monkeys, then was quickly disappointed.

    stole it off an old Thermaltake Volcano 6 Cu

    http://www.thermaltakeusa.com/2005/c...o/si/a1139.htm

    Fan Dimension

    60x60x25 mm

    - and the reason it wont fit on my PWM is because the rear 120mm exhaust fan its about 15mm above the PWM blocking about 1/4 of the area closest to the IO plate. And my TRUE is mounted to blow air up... so the side of the heatsink is too close to PWM to fit it in... Wish I had a camera handy to show you, but I don't. The only way I could do it is either get a vertical blower fan or mount the TRUE in the other configuration and not have a pull fan on it.

    I just attached it to the pwm heatsink fins with some 1 1/2" Machine screws through the fan screw holes and down between the fins of the heatsink and it spreads the fins slightly apart but creates the friction needed to keep it in place.
    Wanna see some pics too.

    Ok I have a extra PSU which is this one:
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ake%2b430W

    But the problem is that the connector for the CPU is 8 pin and on this one I only have a 6 pin one... how can I make it work? And just please don't tell me I need to buy another PSU after spending all those money on the one I have and If only if I was to order a new one and same thing happened I seriously will not know what to do and just... AHHH!

    Are you sure its the right power lead you are looking at? It was 4 pin CPU power lead before they switched to 8 Pin!

    It is a 4pin P4 Connector not a 6 pin and yes that should work just enough to see whats what!

    Problems!!!

    I would like to clear up a few issues about this board that I am having.

    First off, if I run Speedfan my computer locks up during the initial scan at the applications startup. My computer ALWAYS locks up at this point...

    "unknown Winbond2=$9249 ID=$00 on SMBus at $22"

    Second... When I try to run Intel TAT the program fails to load. But it doesn't lock up my system. This is the error that I get...

    "error enumerating on demand clock modulation support

    Terminating tool"

    Third... Another thing that I find odd is that I can't run with more than 3GB of memory. 1GB x 3 sticks. When I put the 4th stick in, my computer doesn't post. The diagnostic LED (from what I have been able to read off the internet) shows that there is a memory issue. The error code seems to be very vague. Yet my memory passes memtest for 18hrs straight.

    This is the memory that I have. With the HS that the memory has, I'm unable to verify what chips they are.
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820178167

    Forth... I can't seem to overclock my Q6700 for . I used the quad core versiom of Prime95 25.5. At stock speeds I pass with flying colors. But if I try to bump the speed up just a hair, my system will not pass. I tried a combination of high fsb, low multi and low fsb, high multi... as well as everything in-between. Nothing seemed to be stable.

    I tried this chip out in a ASUS P5K Deluxe and I had WAY better results. If anyone with a 2.9-3.2Ghz overclock on air could take screen shots of their bios settings, that may help me out in determining what settings I need to adjust. I gave it a few hours on my own, but was not able to get this rig stable. My temps aren't too crazy, I run a thermalright ultra 120.

    OS = XP32 SP2 w/All Updates Applied
    Bios = s.m.a.r.t (disabled)

    Thumbs up 1019 Bios Is All Good

    I agree with Solarfall this board is very nice.

    I have been playing with the 1019 BETA BIOS & despite loosing maybe 50 or so mb/s & 1ns of latency in Everest over 1005 it has played flawlessly & given me marginally better & very consistent 3D benchmark scores both for 24/7 & benching.

    This BIOS IMO is very stable & definitely worth playing with if your into that sort of thing

    Here is where I am 24/7 stable with 1019 if anyones interested.
