Official ASUS X38 Boards: P5E, P5E3 - Info/BIOS Thread

I bought the P5E. Intel heatsink Xeon X3220, 2x 1 gb OCZ 800. I set the FSB to 400, Ram to DDR2-800 and the FSB to 1:1. Dropped the multi to 6 instead of 9.

I can't get the board to adjust the Ram voltage. The selection is fixed on AUTO and can not be changed. I am using bios 203.

Other than that, great motherboard, simple setup. Worked without any hitches.

Just type a value for the ram voltage, hit enter and then you can adjust it with +/-. A really strange feature someone could even call a bug...

4. First time in the BIOS, I change my SATA to RAID, I set my memory timings, and I can't find where to set my RAM voltage. I discovered I had to set my Ai Overclock Tuner to manual so the RAM voltage line shows.

dunno, just caught my eye... and it seems logical to me.
I am considering this board, seems my best choice for 45nm Quad while keeping DDR2-PC8500 and better OC-potential than my P5WDH Del
