    i think it's cuz ur using domi-failures.... j/k

the 8500 is good ram but i think the 10000 dominators were a joke. Corsair sent me 2GB's of that crap and i ended up selling it for $200 cuz no one really wanted them....

P5E BIOS 0107 (works like a charm, absolutely NO issues) + vdroop mod is a winner combination. This simple mod has rise my stable speed by 100Mhz with the same load voltage. Awesome. It tooks 5 seconds to do it.

I just got the P5E too. I have no need for the lcd or the watercooling option, so I decided to save the 50€ or so. I just hope that they keep up with the bioses on this thing as well.

Too bad, but I don't the time to put the thing together today... :/ I've got a Q6600 G0 waiting.

Yeah, the Maximus extra crap is about 60-70€ more here than the P5E on average.

It is more than simple. Open the case, turn off power supply, grab the pencil and few times go over orange highlighted resistor. I just did it with my daughter's HB pencil. Works like charm. Load and idle vcore exactly the same - 1.400 v. In bios set to some 1.4125.

I bought the P5E. Intel heatsink Xeon X3220, 2x 1 gb OCZ 800. I set the FSB to 400, Ram to DDR2-800 and the FSB to 1:1. Dropped the multi to 6 instead of 9.

I can't get the board to adjust the Ram voltage. The selection is fixed on AUTO and can not be changed. I am using bios 203.

Other than that, great motherboard, simple setup. Worked without any hitches.

Just type a value for the ram voltage, hit enter and then you can adjust it with +/-. A really strange feature someone could even call a bug...

U must give the voltages manual , there where Auto stands.
Just go with the arrow down until u stand on the vcore ( highlights ) then type 1350 , if u give this in after that the voltages is adjustable when u press the + or - key ( never seen anything like this .... )

And also do the vdroop mod , this helps alot !

Man I'm loving my P5E! This things overclocks my Q6600 miles better than the Blood Iron I had for three day before it destroyed itself. Maybe it's something to do with the new Seasonic psu as well, but right now I'm running prime at 3600 (my original target) with around 1,4v (taking the vdroop into account). I need to do the vdroop mod as well.

If you do that mod, you will gain a few Mhz too at the same final voltage
