My order would be 12:09 Eastern (I think lol)

I hope they didn't call my place I am at work, but I used Paypal and not a CC because I was in a hurry before they sold out.

I got that too, but it called my cell since I had put that down on billing info. I couldn't figure out how to get it to work, it said "Thanks for entering the code." once I punched it in after the prompt, but nothing changed. I called NCIX and was told it hadn't gone through, that they would put it through now (after asking for the code), but no updates yet.

    some info from NCIX's forum

What we have on hand today will ship today, but make sure to read my post (all the bits that say "IMPORTANT"). When things sell quickly here, it all gets a bit random, and all depends on how easy it is for us to process your payment. The slower the payment processing, the less chance of getting any of today's allocation, or shipping today.

So who knows it might have been good I used paypal...

Does anyone's order show as further along than is in that screenshot?

I just ordered one from EVGA, they have all models listed in-stock on their website.

I purchased the SSC as I will be trading up to the new GTS if/when it comes out .

That stinks, I used a credit card with different shipping/billing addresses, so I guess mine would fall under the "difficult" cateogry . /cry.

Any idea if the rumored Nov. 12 date for the 9800 GTX is legitimate? I'm curious to see how it performs versus 2 8800GT's.

My order looks the same as the screenshot. I didn't know about the pin verification thing so I didn't get to that until maybe an hour after my order, hopefully that won't cause a delay.

Ahhh yeah, force refresh shows it. I really hope my order goes through seeing as how it was minutes after it was posted on their site .

tbh it makes business sense to release a new high-end card even if its a refresh and called 8900GTS/GTX etc. Because as it stands currently there is only the 8800GT...no one will pay twice the price or more for a GTX or Ultra for a gain of a couple of FPS (unless u want tri-SLi, but considering not many have SLi i doubt Tri SLi is going to be a big hit). So they have left a big gap for the fanboy's. They don't have a high-end to buy and after christmas not many people will want to spend $500+ or £450+

And as i asked before what is with the new EVGA 8800GTS that have 96+
shaders whereas the old only have 96 Shaders

Oh, wow, it is gone. When I ordered it said "Buy Now, in-stock".

NewEgg has EVGA in stock now:

Edit: EVGA still has the superclock and standard in-stock, but man, the KO and SSC went fast..glad I grabbed one.

Well, I just called and was told that since it is a different billing/shipping address, it may take an extra day or two to even process payment info . So, I'm probably not going to get it... dying for these cards LOL, since I've had very little to game on for a couple weeks now waiting for them to be released .

it makes sense but this late in the game, nvidia will have to pull the mother of all surprises to get a card with a new designation out, esp. after they more or less officially stated that G9X does not mean 9-series at all, it's no longer relevant to actual designations

The 96+ shader thing is being done by BFG too apparently, over at [H] someone wrote that they will releaes some 112SP versions to keep the GTS relevant

For all those in the UK wanting to avoid overclockers.co.uk there is a small selection listed now at dabs.com, with a few (the Gigabyte branded version at least) in stock. Not sure why the base (non-overclocked) EvGA model is so much pricier than all the others...

Nice to see dabs.com doing PayPal now too.
