tbh it makes business sense to release a new high-end card even if its a refresh and called 8900GTS/GTX etc. Because as it stands currently there is only the 8800GT...no one will pay twice the price or more for a GTX or Ultra for a gain of a couple of FPS (unless u want tri-SLi, but considering not many have SLi i doubt Tri SLi is going to be a big hit). So they have left a big gap for the fanboy's. They don't have a high-end to buy and after christmas not many people will want to spend $500+ or £450+
And as i asked before what is with the new EVGA 8800GTS that have 96+
shaders whereas the old only have 96 Shaders
