    8800GT Aftermarket Cooling Compatibility?

    Ok so I'm about to purchase a Leadtek 8800GT. I do NOT want to be using the stock cooler for very long so I intend on buying aftermarket cooling. What is compatible? Im hoping the 'arctic cooling accelero s1' will be compatible. Can anyone confirm this for me?

    Best bet is to try contacting Arctic Cooling directly. I am still waiting for a response from Thermalright about their HR-03/Plus with the 8800GT and 8800GTS re-release as well as their HR-03 R600 with the upcoming HD 3850 / HD 3870

    If that's true, then also == 6800, x8xx, x18xx, x19xx, and x2900, correct?

    The moutingholes looks exactly the same as the 7900 and I hope they are. I just orderd a 8800GT and I REALLY want my Swiftech MCW60 block to fit. I'm going to clock the hell out of the card ; ))

    according to a store in Japan, arctic cooling/NV Silencer 5(rev3) will fit easily but since this was not made for 8800GT, part of the mem chips will not be covered. On the other hand, ThermalTake/TMG ND1(CL-G0080) would cover all of the mem chips but since it would make contact with the fan connector, you would have to bend the fan connector pins which would obviously void your warranty.

    Anyone would like to take the time to make an Autocad DXF or anything similar with the layout of the 8800GT?

    I want to know if it would be possible to use my Alphacool NexXxoS NVXP-3 waterblock, or if some modifications will be necessary

    I will be eternally greateful to anyone that can provide me with this info!

    For 8800 series VGA, Zalman RHS88 is recmmended to be used along with the VF1000. Can you explain why?
