I don't have a PC to do that from, so I take that as a no about 533 memory. Feel a bit ripped by Crucial for this so called "special 10th anniversary which is apparently cherry picked".

Any idea on memory?

edit: YES, and no they refused to boot with auto settings but I set 5-5-5-18 manually and they booted right up. so at least your sticks will work, just need a little tweaking before hand. and btw my sticks have been abused for many many months so it is possible a better set would boot from spd's. mine only call for 1.8 volts, lots of peoples have 2.0 or 2.2 spd settings.
