I imagin il think of it around 10 minuts past release and then find out that some sites dont have it up for download yet and the ones that do have a waiting line of more then an hour or give crappy speeds or are full.

Then when i finally manage to get my hands on the demo after a few hours of hard work i find out the demo can be finished within a few minuts and i play it 2 or 3 times and then i unisntal it.

That torrent will NEVER finish before the official demo release tomorrow. Not with that many leechers and only 1 seeder who is probably on 56k by the looks of things.

Guys, there's only 1 seeder because no one else has finished the download.

Two, it's pointless because it's the EA Link version, which means you can only play in the editor unless you pre-ordered. Essentially, you might as well wait until tommorrow.

They have f*cked with id software's original idea all those years ago to let their software go out over the Internet quite royally

i pre-ordered it from ea store, so i was able to preloaded yesterday ... and just played a bit

i have a single GTS @ 650/2000 , Q6600 @ 3.51GHz, 6GB DDR2 @900 dual chan in XP 32(yes only sees 2.8G)

hmm am getting crappy performance .... only ~30fps @ 1680x1050 all high DX9 max out.. i have essentially a stock GTX ...

and when u walk around or sprint , u get 5 fps lower ...

yes this is with the new 169.01 i think.. that new driver came out

and move those "Trailer_CrytekC.sfd" all those files with "Trailer_" in front of it somewhere else to skip intro which is annoy

u need GTS SLI to get 40+fps on 1680x1050, and maybe GTX SLI to get that performance @ 1920x1080+

nvm jsut read that obr said its DX9 only /// doubt it supports x64 ... guys does it support DX10 or not??

Thanks for the info what were your AA and AF settings plus quality setting?

I guess it is as demanding as Far Cry. Looks like my 8800U will be struggling at 1920x1200.

there is no AF option .. am guessing 0??? no AA as well .. boy this game is wayy too demanding.. i doubt increasing AF do anything to the performance

ill get that 8800GT SLI tho, it has good shader performance on that card, and 1680x1050 is all i need

does it look good? thats what i want to know

looks like my dreams of maxing it in DX9 at 1280x1024 2xAA and 8xAF on my 1950xtx and no longer

yeha the game looks good of course, but after u played the beta, nothing new .. the performance and graphics are close to beta, of course in beta there was no jungle with like 100+trees, and i cant cut down trees with punch or SCAR ... hmmm DX9 tho am trying DX10 now

nope no DX10, no 64bit support .. tried starting that crysis64.exe .. nothing happened, and i used rivatuner, unchecked the "show OD for DX9", nothing happened as well > it was running at DX9

if there is no DX10, no 64.. i aint playing this on vista ....

Though ATi I think needs a new driver as turning on AA kills my game.
Its not a low fps issue for me its like complete stuttering. "skipping dvd"

I'm running it on Xp32 with 2x1900XT's in crossfire 2x1gb gskill 800 and a E4300 @ 3.2.
Runs well at all high settings for me. 20fps low 40avg and goes up to 50 once and a great while. @ 1440x900

ok... how do u know its DX10 mode??? how did u check .. ill boot in vista and try that
