That's strange you mention that, as I ran into the same thing with my single HDD (when I first bought my P5K) I couldn't boot with the HDD in a certain SATA port....can't remember which one that is.....
I also use the Marvell NIC port because I've never liked Realtek's drivers....
I find it hard to believe that it's actually a physical hardware issue. I hope that the engineers took the voltage/current allocation into account when they arranged the devices with the southbridge and northbridge, but I guess it's possible.
My G0 arrives tomorrow and it's OCIng time! I'll be sure to post my results.
Anyone running a Zalman CNPS9700? I may get an Enzotech Ultra-x if it doesn't cut the mustard, but I'd like to compare with the rest of the class![]()
