Second: where did you see any new revision?

I just got my Maximus today but haven't had a chance even to start with my new config - WC is a pain when you have to rebuild your system: first bleed out the water into some bucket, then start taking it apart, when you're done (long time when you have so many blocks like I do) then you can start with the actual PC.... PITA!

Anyway, I'll have some time to build it on Friday so I can do some testing during the upcoming weekend... we'll see I can hit the 4 gig mark or not...

What's the latest firmware and what should I pay special attention to?

PS: never mind, realized 505 is still the latest...

    Maximus Formula BIOS 0505
    1. Add new CPU uCode to support new processors
    2. Revise wording used in BIOS
    3. Adjust NB Voltage max to 1.85V
    4. Enhance DDRII-1200 memory compatibility
    5. Finetune Loadline Calibration control code
    6. Add LCD Poster Mode item
Awsome, enjoy man, the new revision is a few posts back, on page 32-34 somewhere in there..........wich revision did you get? its right by the 1st pci-e slot, where it says maximus formula right under it to the right.

honestly my board is doing me very well, no problems, no major issues except for prime 95 not loading 100% after 1.5v....other than that i have no issues, it could just be a minor update, we just have to wait and see.

Hi guys I need your help-

Im thinking of going Quad from my E6850- its a great cpu- But I cant OC it much anymore for some reason, I had a P5K Premium and it would run at 3.92 fine for about a month but then it wouldnt run that anymore- anyways i then had it at 3.84 and samething, so i thought it was mobo- bought maximus and still having same prob- so now i think id rather go 3.6 on a G0 Quad 6600.
It seems many people are doing this on this forum, Other specs i have is a crucial ballistix tracer 8500 ram 2GB and enermax galaxy 1000 dxx- I dont know if you need to know any other specs of mine. But can someone list what there using in there Bios to achieve this, I find this board has alot of voltage problems, i set 2.2 in vdimm and get 2.3, Vdroop is ok on this mobo- but even thigns like NB volt changes- so just want t know what you SET in bios and how your achieivng 3.6 on Q6600

Also Note I have a CM Stacker 832 with 9 fans and a thermalright ultra 120 extreme heatsink, so its a cool machine, im running NB and SB ruond 45 Degrees and CPU round 40 idle 50 Load when oc'd

    Thanks for any help!!!
