Official GIGABYTE X38-DQ6/X38T-DQ6 Info/BIOS Thread

Dear all...please help this newbie... ...i'm running my x38dq6 with my q6600 B3..have an issuee at BIOS setting :

1. At MIT section there are a part that you could change the memory multiplier..it's saying x.xxA strapping fsb 266, x.xxB strapping fsb 333, and so on...and for each you could choose a divider...i'm not familiar with this matter..what should i took ? i'm planning to OC..with Corsair domminator PC8500

2. At the moment i'm using 3.00A...and could get 400 x 9 easily..passed cinebench and passed 32M Spi but didn't passed prime 95 4 treads in 4 second..if lowering the divider to 2.50A..pc wont boot..only attemp 270 x 9...

Please help me with this...thanx all...

P.S : My specs :
Gigabyte x38 DQ6 with bios F5g
Q6600 B3 at 1.550v ( bios )
Corsair Domminator PC8500 at 2.3v ( 5 7 7 24 ) 3.00A divider = 1200mhz
Silverstone 850w
Sapphire HD 2900 XT
TT Tribe cpu water cooling
WDR 74gb

go back to f3 bios its much more stable
