I am new to water cooling too, and it is my first build.

The Maximus in it's stock form is a looker to me....

That darn "47% increase in thermal performance compared to other heatpipe designs" is eating at me.

Combined with Asus'es official stance - Fusion Block System: The next step in thermal solution, and how efficient it is and all....

I am starting to think they may have something here?

Man we need numbers to check out bad!! I would love to see a temp test between some high end rig (with all the individual blocks), against the stock Fusion block, both on good water setups.

If I get all custom blocks, then I'll need backplates too, then there is the matter of bending my 1/2" tube in the tight spaces, and don't let your mobo bend, and the cost, and getting them in the US....

My little spirit is kind of sick on the matter to be honest.

The big strike I initially had against running the stock Fusion block was it was smaller than my 1/2" water hose, and didn't want to cutt down on my flow. Now I have just ordered the latest thing to try, the Fusion CPU block nozzle kit, with one nozzle in there for a quad core. This kit I believe works by constricting, or jetting the water at the block. And guess what... I think it actually may work, and it's a much bigger constrictor than the stock Fusion block will ever be by the looks of the nozzle?

And what is the deal with the "ROG's renowned heatpipe design"? Is it a known thing in the universe that this is indeed a well designed heatpipe? Does it disperse heat well? I have no idea....

    More confusion...

So far I have only a CPU block wich I needed, and the Fusion stock cooling. If I buy 1 more block, I pritty much have to jump in big, or hold my ground as is....

I would love to hear some opinions...

I would be going CPU to Fusion to GPU at a minimum, on 1 bad boy loop.
