Intel shows off mobile quad core CPU

Ummm... I do. I run programs that go through board layouts and schematics and checks for violations. These programs literally bring my system to a crashing halt and make it impossible to do anything else. And having those programs run for a few hours on your main work system, making it virtually useless, kind of sucks. I'm only one of about a hundred thousand intel employees that could use a quad core laptop.

It's probably because you're stuck with a Pentium M IBM notebook like most of Intel :p

Unless you're one of the "lucky" ones with a Yonah? Has Intel even started distributing Merom notebooks to their employees yet?

Since I'm a software architect who specialize in multi-user environments, I sure as hell could use a QC, The desktop is going to die. It's just a matter of time.
