Tried that 3800+ that was supposed to be crap

    spi1m stable @ 2650mhz @ 1.55-1.6v @ 24c (don't remember exact vcore).

To avoid the CB I had to mount it badly, but I did it a little too bad, as the temp went to the roof @ 1.7v

Going to buy a phase change unit in a month or 2. One of those should be perfect for this one.

    Was this FX57 pretested?

I have an fx57 with the same stepping as yours. Didn't test it myself, but it was prime stable @ 3.65ghz @ 1.65v @ Vapo LS (-28c temp). At least that's what the previous owner said. Can you please test your chip with the same kind of cooling so I know what to expect from my chip?

It'll probably be a little while before I get my hands on cascade/ln2

That a very good stepping for a FX-57. The same as Before's right?

my fx is a burner... i mean it's hotter than hell.... with 1.75V i have 0°C > in bios... the best score i've reached with 1.696V at -20°C (cpu-temp)...

    3830.44MHz : http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=253868

this chip need coldness. i think there are some more mhz with -100°C

with 1.55V at superpi i've no more subzero cpu-temps max-stable was 3519mhz @ 1.52V. i think i have to remove the ihs but that will happen after the cascade-session....

Looks like a nice chip 4g should be np. I'm sure you'll beat your own record (the FX55 one)

You must change thermal grase under your IHS. Ceramique is the best thing for this operation. I have the same situation with my FX-57.

lap both sides of the IHS, changing TIM under it is pointless if you leave it concave/convex between core and IHS.

and how much vcore did you used at 3.9gig?

i've tried today my fx-57 with prime under my single-stage but these load temps are killing me!

The FX-57 it's very hot in full
I've not tested with Prime, just fast bench
    This is a spi with the FX-57 CABRIO liquidcooled(room @ 7°C)

Have you try also the FSB cold bug under phase?

coldbug with a free multi is really cool...

for example: booting with 8x200MHz, setting htt under 200MHz and then pump up the multiplier 40x100MHz or so... hehe

Nice cold bug gianni....more than 300 MHz under single stage with an FX is great so you will have more options for clocking
