460FSB my MAX FSB on this bord, this has to be RAM related. 8 bords all maxed at 450/465FSB.

    I can run memtest @ DDR1200 4-4-4-8 fine.

I've new ram on the way anyway

I`m having a few probs getting my E6600 stable at 3.4GHz,was rock solid on my previous board but fails orthos / occt within a min or two.

The board wont even boot if i have it set at 8 x 425,anyone got any basic settings that theyve tweaked that they would like to share?

One last thing ive got my memory set to 2.0v in the bios but AI Suit has it at 2.3v and PC Probe at 2.1v?

That's a pretty bad vdrop. I've seen it on many asus m/b's in the past, but i was hoping that maximus wouldn't fall in the same category...

Won't this vdroop issue disappear when Asus manage to fix the voltage damper option in the bios, though?

I think that voltage damper affects undervolting and not vdrop. Or am i wrong?

Has anyone experimented with water cooling on the chip set yet? Did it improve your clocks? My board will be in next week and I have a Corsair Nautilus 500 laying around that I could use for a second loop. Just wondering if it's worth the effort? TIA.
