    Fatbody 1200+ CL4-2-2? Impossible?

    I don't think so

    Celly 420 (rox )
    P5K
2x512MB Corsair 5400UL, my best sticks
    Antec 550W TruePower

    vdimm 2.7-2.95v
    vmch 1.63v

    2.7v 5:8

    2.95v 1:2

alpha timings + cpu + mem

    2.7v

    http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc.php?id=253179
    CL4-2-2 dual channel

1:2 really sux in P5K for me. 5:8 is much better for ram clocking, but fsb wall @380MHz is barrier for memory. At this moment I havent got better cpu (waiting for peryn) to check what really this ram can show . I will try put evap on cpu in next few weeks and try one more time

    regards

In p5k I can set only 4-3-3, no "2" options.

    Little test:

    Interesting

considering that no DDR2 has ever come close to this, without it being a fluke or fake, I am not too inclined to think this is real. probably just bugged or something.

Have you got some ideas, how check it? I dont know how other mobos will work (or don't work) with that "strage" setting.

In worst option is still 4-3-2/4-3-3 1200mhz+ for fatties.

I see no significant difference between tRCD 3 and tRCD 2. RAS to CAS Write delay is possible to set in Memset. I don't believe tRCD is, and I don't believe tRCD 2 is possible on P35.

4-3-3 1200MHz on fatties though is indeed excellent. I suspect we'd be seeing more of that if more people were using them on P35.

I should have made myself more clear; RAS to CAS Write Delay indeed works and many of us use it to shave down 32M and 1M times to an extent. Note that the jump from .907 to .750 doesn't come from tRCD being reduced; rather from tRP and/or RAS to CAS Write Delay being reduced.

It's got my interest piqued though, wish I still had some fatbodies around now.

Handpicked fatties on P35 with 2.95Vdimm. I don't see any fake there, pretty nice results.

I think the results are great. I also never saw a CL4-2-2-x fatboy before, but the 1M results are interesting. The vddr should be realistic for 4-2-2.

But anyway, I try everything from the BIOS and not with memset to be SURE nothing is faked or virtually setted.

CL3 or 2, both are really amazing results for the fatboy.

Some of us still have sticks that some of you guys got rid of.

Maybe just like BH-5 and S939, fatbodies will have a second, more productive life with the P35.

Corsair 5400UL v1.3/1.5. I've got few sticks and selected the best pair couple months ago, but I'm running with 975x chipset, so memory was limited. With P5W64 and 2.69v:

My 8000UL v1.1 and other 5400UL v1.2/v1.5 are clocking much lower.

For sure my score isn't any fake or something. Maybe some bug, but I can't check it in 100% and confirm.

For anyone interested, one of the members has a set of these same modules for sale in the Classifieds.

    Pretty good price, too.

MaSell I must say this is very interesting and so is testing so far. I have seen the 4,2,2,x also and I haven't vmodded so I am maxed at 2.55 bios. So far they did 568 4,3,3,x with ease at performance level 4! I also tried cas 3 and 1T which was no problem at 420 performance level 3. I am glad noone scooped them up when I tried to sell them for 55 . I will post some reults here for you after vmodding the mobo.
