noway if you are running with a g0 you shouldn't hit a wall yet, push it further

Then you only have a FSB of something like 380 unless you run lower multi....

The load line calibration does not functional on the maximus, future bios solved the problem.

Actually Vdroop for high voltage is 0,033volt and 0,018v for low voltage.

With Intel quad core you set in bios 1,25volt the phase providing 1,226v idle and 1,208v in full load, with 1,50volt the phase providing 1,470volt idle and 1,437 in full load.

I do not believe that be resolved.

In my case I have 1.440v Idle and 1.384v load, with quad.

    Difference of 0.056v, very bad.

the real phase power must be measured from this point with Professional multimeter...

    only one to ground

That's a pretty bad vdrop. I've seen it on many asus m/b's in the past, but i was hoping that maximus wouldn't fall in the same category...

LOL - it's been a while since I saw somebody declaring a mobo "amazing" 'cause it does 3.4GHz with an Intel CPU...

3.4 is my initial overclock, the same chip wouldnt go above 3.15 stable on my last board. havnt measured the vdroop but its obvious the vcore is much more stable.... i'm having to use my old freezer pro7 as my swiftech kit hasnt arrived yet. considering i'm on air aswell i would consider the x38 chipset and the P5E mb in perticular to be good even amazing lol....
