Specs:
Commell LE-370CM6 Embedded 3.5" motherboard
600MHz Celeron-M, 0KB Banias
dual 40mm fans, surprisingly quiet
512MB DDR400@266 due to board limitations
40GB Seagate Momentus 5400.2 ATA 2.5" hard drive
Atheros 802.11b/g wireless card with external antenna

Total case size is around 4.5" deep x 3" tall x 6.5" wide. Pulls under 30 watts of power at load, about half that at idle. Power is a simple 60 watt power brick, overkill but it's what I have available. Performance is around the level of a PIII-600 or Via C3/C7 around 1GHz. Power and reset buttons on the back are from the parts box. Casing is made from parts salvaged from one of the breadbox cases below. Built more as an exercize than anything else.

Panasonic 8x DVD+/-RW Slot load slimline drive
generic zillion-n-1 flash card reader
100 watt power brick, board has onboard power circuit with 8-24 volt input
All cooled by a single Yate Loon 120mm fan

About 9" tall, 6.75" wide, and 7" deep. Pulls about 27 watts idle, 55 or so under a load.

Built to run Windows Home Server using another breadbox.

Jetway i945 mini-ITX board
Core 2 Duo T5200(1.6Ghz, 533MHz bus)
1GB DDR2-533
Onboard dual gigabit, HDMI, s-video, component, SATA, etc. LOADED board, just loaded
2x500GB Maxtor SATA drives
Rosewill SI 3114 RAID card - for a future external drive case
One blue Yate Loon 120mm fan
2x4" blue cathodes
Inwin/Powerman 180 watt PSU

Approx 9" square, 60-70 watts under load. Working good so far, but I'm not sure if I'll be keeping WHS on it or not.

Built using surplus 60's Radiation Detection Meters. One has a Pentium-M 1.6GHz on a Commell LE-370, the other an Advantech C3 667MHz board. Both have 512MB RAM and 40GB laptop hard drives. One was built to be a CarPC but has been living on my desk. The other acted as a NAS for a while, but has been out of use.

its a Soldam mainly japanese i believe some in US, but i think they have gone out of buisness now, plus they were hugely expensive anyway.

i think the soldam case's are the only cases right now that could convince me to go back to actually using one shame they are not available in the uk

Very nice and clean looking.
BUT: Let me let you in on a little secret on a "wifey PC"..
RAID1 ALWAYS..With a empty spare tucked into the machine JUST to have it ready!
Hell hath no fury like a woman with a crashed PC and it usually happens when you don't have the time to fix it..
RAID1 and your life is one of bliss!
