Thats a thankless job but one we needed done!Seriously though, I think I'm done adding equipment for a while. My goal was to reach 100k/day and it looks like I'm there. Now I'll wait paitiently for 8-core Nehalem to hit the market and go for 200k/day.

what does it take to get 100k a day?
I have 8 quads overclocked to 3.2GHz or more. Running Windows x64 helps too, boosting points by ~15%.

According to Boincstats, my team position is 61, but according to WCG, I'm at 130-something. Guess it's because of those 3 or 4 months when half my machines were running UD. Anyway, looks like I broke through 200k boinc points a couple days ago. And the new 1.7ghz machine posted it's first result today. A couple machines were out yesterday and I didn't notice, but they're back now. I'm waiting to see if S7 gets an oc bios for his L1N and what kinds of results he gets on wcg work units, but I'm leaning toward another quad. Have to get a new furnace installed next week so probably won't do anything until November. Maybe I'll get a winning lottery ticket though - at some point in your life you've got to win something - right?
