Well mach or LS were never charged or tuned with this in mind so you might end up having problem :P Try it on freezing day... grab it out side and try to put some load through overclocking... it might just fail over.

Looks like silver solder, and 1/2" in the 1/2" T, and 3/8" in the 1/2", and then the 1/4" in the 3/8".

If you have a cooling question or concern feel free to contact me.
all most
lead on the water jacket (the 1/2 and the hx tees) very low water pump pressure
and silver on the refrigeration (the 1/4 pipe that runs thro the hx with the refrigerant in it)which is high pressure
there was no need to wast silver on the water side as there is very lil pressure from the water
i would suggest if any one does not understand what i have just said
and is making one of these water hx
you should just use silver for the hole hx construction

I would suggest that anyone that dosnt understand what you said should find a new hobby... Even my g/f understood what you mean after looking at the piccie and she didnt even know there were more than one type of solder before like a minute ago! lol
I might give this a try![]()
Owen
would this same setup work well with a chiller setup?
im thinking about using 2 plate HX's.... one to cool hot gas and the other as the evap.
i'd be using a hwlabs gtx560 to cool the hot side and im wanting the cold side to cool an OCed i7 and full cover mobo.
just wondering if this would be worth trying.
I know this is an old project now but am constructing my own water cooled condenser as a replacement for the Vaporchill condenser (inadequate for an i7), and was eager to hear of the final results after adding to a water cooled system??
