    31K is not typical by any means. Yesterday just happened to be a better than average day. Every now and then I will see 28-29K.

    I see that the WCG site have the latest recommended version as 5.10.22 on its download page http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/re...ewMember=false - but its still at 5.10.21 (Beta) on the Berkeley site.

    Although I haven't seen an announcement over at WCG, from a post by one of the WCG CA's it seems its a purpose built WCG version which also automatically uninstals any UD Agent present to assist in the forthcoming migration to Boinc only, and also has its own WCG skin - whether it is any improvement from versions 5.10.20/21 I have no idea

    The 5.10.22 is the version packaged by WCG and WCG-Skinned to also make use of the extra functionality to identify the old WCG (UD) agent and optionally remove that. Each WCG project, including FA@H come with their own set of slides you can see rotating in the BOINC Simple View window.

    Between 5.10.20 and 5.10.21 there are lots of bug fixes and a few more with the one WCG released, some not yet documented. As always WCG recommends their checked and endorsed version, link provided on the WCG download page.... anything else and it gives support headaches

    OK, I've just loaded 5.10.22 over 5.10.20, and I see that it has its own 'WCG' skin whilst installing, and some pretty slides in simple view - but nothing else.

    Benchmark seems to have gone up a tad though, on a Q6600@3GHz it was 2821/5890, now its:

    05/10/2007 17:38:45||Benchmark results:
    05/10/2007 17:38:45|| Number of CPUs: 4
    05/10/2007 17:38:45|| 2945 floating point MIPS (Whetstone) per CPU
    05/10/2007 17:38:45|| 6373 integer MIPS (Dhrystone) per CPU

    Could just be explained by variations at the bench time though
