In all the tests I did and the results I looked at they were only moderate overclockers and I expected better results from the first 8 layer PCB memory. having said that they are an alternate to the mainstrem and i appreciate the effort. Can any advise how to do some comprehensive testing with my ASUS Striker extreme. I was happy running them in synch at 800Mhz under spec
Not sure if these were the first 8 layer. I bought a 8 GB kit of GeIL Black Dragon several months ago touted as 8 layer and had a devil of a time getting it to run on the P35 chipset.

I had thught 8 layer would be much better--but in fact I never even got the RAM to run at rated speeds...and never with 8GB in 64 bit Vista...

Still looking for the perfect RAM...I will have to give Cell Shock a try.
