hi guys, sorry it took so long to get back. had to go out and earn my keep so that i can feed my pc tinkering addiction.

Thanx for the kind comments. the case is a silverstone TJ07 and have stuffed most of the kit in the bottom compartment. am waiting for some dtek fire red dye to add a ickle something something to the innards. am hoping its goin to be close to blood red.... am also waiting for a EK waterblock for my 8800 GTX.

The journey was a bit turbulent at the start, screwed 2 holes into pa 120.3 and had to fill with silicone (thanx to Marci for exceptional advice regarding this ). also ruined previous video card installing EK block, hence nice shiny new 8800 GTX.

Heres some more pics of bottom and back of the darling!!

The Logisys drive things are okay..there's definitely better cooled HDD mounts around though.

ka lok....nice setup you have. One suggestion, though. I'd really think about removing the gel pad from under your pump and replacing it with some foam blocks stuck to the underside of the pump.

You'd be quite surprised how much heat is dumped from the underside of Laing pumps and those gel pads, while isolating noise quite well, also insulate the pump into retaining its heat being generated. I was quite surprised to find out how hot my Laing DDC pump was running while sitting on one of those pads.

I since changed over to 3/4" square high density foam blocks--one stuck to each corner....they're 3/4" cubes, actually, and allows at least a bit of air movement under the pump. Made them out of the highest density foam door seal strips I could find at the local hardware store, a pair of scissors, and some double-sided tape.

cheers for the advice didnt realise the laing pumps produce so much heat. will try find a block of foam somewhere to replace it. will have to do it after i recover from immense drubbing i got from paint balling. ache like a donkey!!!
