Just flashed from 8/23 to 9/13 official bios and starting to do some 2:3 (266/800) divider tests of the new memory related options to see what they bring to the table

I'll be using Everest Ultimate 4.10.1128 Beta and Super Pi v1.50 32M test for the comparisons.

    Comparison Results

    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-12 / all AUTO T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:58.547
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:51.281
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Fast EA = Auto T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:50.469
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Turbo EA = Auto T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:50.562
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Auto EA = Auto T2 Dispatch = AUTO = 15:50.422
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Auto EA = Fast T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:50.265
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Turbo EA = Fast T2 Dispatch = Disabled = 15:46.594
    • 500Mhz 4-4-4-5 / A-25-A-plA-A-11-10-AA-454-AA - EDT = Turbo EA = Fast T2 Dispatch = AUTO = 15:46.594

    thx esau
with those configs i can get up to 3.09 ghz (9x343)with stock cpu cooler... with 1.4v for CPU and 2.1v for memories (is it too much?)
i would like to push it to 3.2
    any other recommendations?
and i will appreciate the right config for my memories...
i certainly read all this cas stuff but its hard to understand... mine is CAS4 800mhz
    thx so much....
and if u could tip me on those programs u guys use to test memory, cpu or setup memory and etc...
and 1 more thing... i just checked my settings with cpuz and it appears that my core speed is 2.06ghz (343x6) when in my computer properties says @3.09 whats wrong?
oh wait its changing... goes to x9 and x6 on and off????????
sorry i ask all this questions... im a noob in this stuff (where can i download smart guardian? i have win vista)
