Shame all the boards are using the single IDE approach aswell. I know most AM2 boards are this way now, but not all. ASUS Nforce 4 AM2 boards have them......shame they didn't implement 2x on these boards since lots of people still require 2x IDE channels.

I mean they still include a bloomin' FLOPPY connector??????
Thats because the NF4 chipset still supported two IDE channels. None of the newer chipsets do, in fact the Intel chipsets don't even have support for one IDE channel, they all have third party chips on board to support IDE.

I for one miss the second IDE channel and wonder what the point is in getting rid of it, not like that extra connector cost them anything.
