You can always upgrade your speaker or headphones later. Your still gonna notice a big difference in sound quality. You can buy a cheap low end X-Music or similar cards but you won't get the best sound quality available. If you do decide to upgrade your cans or speakers you will still be stuck with the sound quality of the low end card. Grab the Prelude and you have options to upgrade your audio system. This is something you need to figure out and decide what you need more.
