I picked up a P35-DS3R and G0 Q6600. Nice combo, working pretty well so far. Got some tweaking in yesterday but lots more to go.
I wanted to mention that I think the people who have problems getting above certain FSBs are actually limited by the CPU. I have a P965-DS3 and E4300 combo as well and it can't go above 345 MHz FSB much at all. The chips are perhaps more determining in FSB limits than the mobos, IMO.
This G0 Q6600 is fairly happy all the way up to 425 MHz FSB or so, in my tests. Although I do think it's happier at a lower FSB with the 9x multi than up at 400+ with the 8x multi. I have to do more testing, but that would make sense.
One thing I would really like on an Intel board is a way to change Vcore and still have the voltage change in EIST. On my prior DFI NF4 Ultra-D board, there was a setting called "Special VID" or some such that increased the entire Vcore range Cool'n'Quiet would use by a percentage (i.e. 103%, 110%, 113%, etc). That was great. You could be ultra overclocked when you need it but also really cool when you don't. Can of course be tricky to get the intermediate clocks and voltages, that the power management uses, stable. But it worked great with my Opteron 165 back then.
Overall this P35 board seems a lot like the P965-DS3 (even looks very similar). The P35 may be a better overclocker. But my E4300, like I said, wasn't very friendly to high FSBs.
