    Actually top mount is somewhat better with condensation issues as there are only two gaps for air to get it in below the unit at bottom of vertical insualtion and just under the holdown. The F1 unit pics are just showing off the container, I never bench with it like that.
    Don't try that at home kids ...always use your paper towel wraps around the unit holdown and your GOLD. Never have to take the main insulation off of the container with the type of mount the F1 uses, fastest and easiest mount I have used yet. I dont even use any sort of polish or anything in the socket area anymore at all.

    You can do something like OPB did if you really want to dig in and make the stack tight:
