Initial tests with the E6600 were pretty dissapointing, this in the fact it didn't boot with previous running overclocks (9 x 400 nor 8 x 450), stock was fine, I installed the E6850 and flashed again and strangely enough overclocking was as straightforward as with 1303, performance rely on par with 1303 , nothing really different found in terms of overclockability... weird thing was at a certain moment I opened CPU-Z ( for a screenshot) while Asus probe was running, all the voltage/temp detections went red... weird what was this... I openend Everest home to verify my temps/voltages there, they didn't show, rebooted the pc went into bios, bump voltage readings gone... also my fan control ability from the mobo was gone... apparently a reset of the bios helped here but this weird behaviour is known to other users too so it's something to do with the bios itself...
In a nutshell : if you have one of those coppermice flash it, but if not stay with 1303
