And two 4pin power connectors...at locations which will make it even more hard to route things properly ;(

What PSU has 2 4 pin connectors though? The one 4pin up top is an 8 pin actually with a cover over 4 of them, wth is up with that. Maybe you can use 2 of the 4 pin connectors (like a little older PSU with just a single 4 pin and a molex adapter for the other 4 pin) or just the one 8 pin?

good luck finding 4GB sticks for this mobo then
if you do find some it will cost you an arm and a leg

i'd be looking for a DDR3 mobo as those things will need all the bandwidth they can get

I kind of want an AMD setup with one of these. But no point if they can't even beat a single QX6700 in benches

    Yes, they are beautifull

    Yes, they are hot...

Yes, they have ONLY 4 SLOTS FOR MEMORY? , why the hell not EIGHT, as common server boards? I would expect they would have fixed it by tis respin... :P

What is needed is a chipset that will fully support the new K10s. If I remember right there was a AMD reference mobo that was duel socket F+ using a RD790 chipset. It would have been great if AMD launched both K10 and the RD/RX/RS790 at the same time. I'm sure the benches would have been better if they did too.

I remember too. Btw, do you remember how many memory slots did that mobo had?

Edit: Thanks for the pics. And BASTARDS, still only two! :P

For most of my work, is enougth, but not for all. It will be a price fight between these and the official server ones, added how much problem there will be to make those babies work with Barcellonas :P

Oh yes! I like this board already !
Considerably less copper compared to L1N64-SLI WS and split power plane together with 4 phase VRM per CPU socket
