Adidassler, you should remove that cover from the NB heatsink (the one with asus written), it really messes up the airflow in there..

Very clean setup . How's the video card doing with the HR-03 mounted on top? I'd imagine that it would be bending under that much weight...

As for me, new case and watercooling is coming soon. Will be posting new rig setup within the next couple of weeks.

Great job man, although there are many great rigs posted recenlty I have been most impressed with yous because it's clean and utilitarian! You did a great job with both the wirring and the sound dampening material (which is not the easiest thing in the world to install)! What are you running for hardware?

Metric - Yeah that heat sink is kinda heavy but the stock heat sink bowed the card much more than the HR-03.. You can still see a very slight warping from it. Good luck with your new rig!

Roger_D25 - Thats what I was going for. And yeah that sound dampening stuff was a pain... I had to buy a second box of it because I couldn't get the cuts and or application of it right. As far as whats in the case..

@ DARK PRODIGY ok the case is cool , but what about the mobo which has 8 slots for the memory ? which mobo is that ?

It's a dual socket server motherboard, not sure which exactly.

Correct - but wrong picture. The northbridge on the H8DCE has a 40mm fan on it like mine.

You are correct, if those are xeons then all RAM slots will be at one place(at least most of the boards).

But whats the reason behind using some kind of coolers on RAM sticks ?

RAM heat spreaders dissipate heat. Are they effective...possibly. But they look leagues better than normal naked RAM sticks.

Why did you remove the metal mesh on the side panel?

I thought it looked better without it. I'm considering putting it back in if I can remember where I put it. The side panel fan and mount aren't there because my HR-03 hits it when the side panel is on.

I second that scream, the Promedia 2.1 is a very decent kit, even for gaming! By the way scream what Ballistix Tracers are you running (PC2-8000 or PC2-8500)? Thanks man!

im using the PC5300 model.. its the lower end brother.. but a extremely decent clocker...

The slim drive is nice and I may do it one day, but it would be annoying to reach down to pretty much the floor to change disks when it's easier on my desk.
