Thats alot of volts mate I have that exact stepping & can bench at 4200Mhz with that voltage!!!!

Try tweaking your ram settings & giving your vMCH some more volts

By the way i'm using a Turiq Tower with a 60CFM sunon fan inside! Still building my watercooling loop

I've played around a lot, temps hit 54 degrees while running orthos blend, and just short of that running orhos cpu only (speedfan). Now I'm also runnin Vista 64, and from what I'm reading there's a fair amount of confusion over accurate temps from the various programs. It appears even the VID can change with different versions of coretemp. I get different readings from coretemp, everest and speedfan? that aside I agree there may be a limit with the memory, but I think it's either the fact that it's 4 gigs as opposed to 2. More heat and stress on memory controller, or it's the motherboard. 2gigs of the same memory can hit higher speeds according to custompc magazine in a P5K Deluxe!

Can 2 processors from the same batch, with the same stepping have different VID's? sorry if it's an ignorant question..

    yes

I get a Q6600 with same stepping as a friends his one git VID of 1.25v as mine is 1.2625v, so I guess it would be the same for E6850.

yeah right you must be kidding me 12.5 secs on 1m with a CPU at 2.7Ghz, so if you use that rig and pull it up to 3.6 you will beat a world record while others need 4-5ghz to obtain a time like that or it's EIST dropping back multi back to 6x...

What is your real CPU speed ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

You might want to check this temps with core temp 95.4 cause those seem a little on the low side specially if you are talking about Orthos small ftts full load.
no way no how you are at 55c with 1.52v.

or it's EIST dropping back multi back to 6x... It's 9x456. I don't know why it never shows (6-9) on cpu-z. I guess I should disable it so some guys don't get confused
