Fallwind, thats a good idea. It honestly did not cross my mind to figure out the max fsb since I can't get a good OC w/ a multiplier of 6 vs 9, but I should to test the FSB. THANKS.

Nugzo, my only reason thinking this is that I have nothing really pinned down in the bios. A few of the things crossg said might be the key to adding more stability and running say 3.75 - 3.8 ghz. The majority of guys posting incredibly high OC's (3.8ghz +) seem to have everything nailed down in the bios. Barely anything is on auto. Just my way of thinking. I can only test my hypothesis that nailing down the bios will help me get a few more mhz out of this cpu.

I understand where you are coming from. A lot of guys have had trouble getting past 3.2 or 3.6 ghz. I guess I am one of the luckier ones.
After re-reading my post, i may have come across like an azz. Sorry about that. Is this your first quad g0? If so i'm jealous. It took me 4 to get a good one. Good luck on 3.8+. As soon as i see some new batches that are doing well, i'll buy a couple more in hopes of a good one. 3600mhz was my goal. Now that i see some stable 4ghz on water, it has me itching again. I just cant stop. Is there a methadone clinic for Overclockers? I need help!
