That may or may not be true but my P-35 requires no additional voltage to reach 475 Mhz and higher. I haven't tested for max FSB but have booted at 500 with no extra volts.

I found an interesting article regarding the P35 chipset boards from Asus.
They are compared to a Gigabyte board here:

    The results are almost shocking.

Well dont get me wrong mate.
Im not saying Asus sucks because i am a fan of their boards too.
I was just looking from a quality and overclocking point of view.

And i asked myself the question why their temps would be higher then the Gigabyte boards with the same chipset.

dude, the deluxe might be abit hot, but never as hot showed in that .pdf, like dino said it is a pure marketing that Gigabyte even use @ their website........( but they didnt named the board as asus but as competitor.....), and besides before it will die/worn out from overheating, u will probbly upgrade to another mobo already/cpu.... And if u still unsure, grab the P5K Premium, that is a improved version of the Deluxe, with some cooling improvements, better components around socket area, and no more mosfets on the back, and they run cooler, I think the price difference is not that big , at least in the Netherlands just 20 euro.. I know which 1 I would pick.....

The last two Asus boards I had, Blitz and Premium clocked great.

And were both faulty. Now I'm reluctant to get another, what's left? The Abit has hot PWM and droop, no DFI yet so that leaves the DQ6.
