Other than extra pcie(4x) slot,firewire,ide connector placement, and better nb heatsink.....is there any difference in terms of performance between the
-DS3R vs. -DS3P. Do they both have similar issues or does one work better than the other such as memory dividers,stability,etc? Im just thinking that since the placement of adding PCIE 4x slot, therefore making the board layout a bit different may affect performance in different ways for both types of board. I am leaning towards -DS3R because i dont care for firewire I ony care for overclocking and it seems both can do that well. I am just worried about memory divider issues or other bugs that are only present in each board separately.

Anyone can share some input? Seems like to me reading from here they both have same issues so getting one vs. the other wont matter? Thanks for reading.
