Well the good thing is I've never heard of that place before so obviously they have a small quantity. Obviously larger dealers will get larger shipments. It's just a matter of time now...
Q6600 G0 + DFI P35 T2R + 8800GTS Rev. A3....ugh the wait is the killer right now. Can't use my new pc until I get this part.![]()

I'm sick of quotes and sigs, and I'm sick of you !
MotherboardPro shows availability on 8/25. The egg and everyone else should have them around the same time. Generally the egg sells at a markup when something like this is released!
i agree with you and tony and everyone else...
but asus released their p5k series decently early at or around $250 and they're quite the good board... it has its quirks here and there but all boards do
if dfi were to release their board the same time as Asus, I'd be willing to pay $300 for it as well...
Dooood, thank you for stating the obvious - "stuff like this takes time, and costs money." In your opinion it's perfect - that which you don't even have possession or know the price of yet - but you have a right to that opinion. I just hope you realise I have a right to mine too.
8/25 is too close to x38 for availability (assuming x38 isint delayed again). And its price will be close to x38 as well, really hard to justify $300 for a p35 board.

Finally received a full retail release A03, turned down a pre release to make sure i got what you guys will see. Rgone has one also and will be posting on the DFI support forum as soon as he starts testing.
Shipments hit EU and USA early next week with retail shipments next week also i just heard, so if you are thinking of getting one watch the usual DFI outlets closely.
Million things to do here so please don't push for results, I will post as soon as I can.

I have this mobo and layout is not good for watercooling, this mobo is AVERAGE mobo, DFI is not HIGH-end anymore ...
I have better scores on every test with nForce mobo or Asus P35 mobo, now i am working on review and ... this is third DFI mobo in-line where will be my Review result BAD!
So your one bad experience proves to the world that the board is AVERAGE as you put it?
Get real man, half the issues i ever see are user based with the user not fully knowing the best way to tweak a board. I have seen everyone become fixated with FSB of late and judged how good a board is on how close to 500 (now 600) FSB the board will run, with those who have studied where the boards are fastest it is really not worth the effort.
I have a board here and many more will have boards next week, i think it best we judge the board by how a broad range of users do...not just your results and the lack of a "water cooler friendly" layout at this time.
Remember it is not possible to please everyone, thats why we have so many different brands of motherboards out there, just like there are many different brands of sneakers.

Hmmm...is it a true droop or is the software simply reporting incorrectly? Measure the voltage with a DMM both in bios and in windows and measure under load in memtest and in windows memtest/prime95 and see how your results compare. .07 isn't crazy, but it is a tad high if it's correct. In either case I doubt it's a "faulty" board.
@Tony: I can't wait to talk to you about your results with this board on Skype, I'm eager to here how it performs on the tighter straps.![]()
Formerly XIP, now just P.
i agree with yoxxy... but isn't part of that having to do with the fact it was done with a magically delicious 6700 (in other words top locked at 10x)?
it'd be interesting to see if there were a X6800 that was capable of 5700-5800 1M pi using higher mults, lower fsb, dividers to get mem 600+ and see if it would indeed be faster than the 6700 since according to Tony higher fsb isn't necessarily better.![]()
I have a retail X6800, no quads, or I have ES6750 and ES6850 or 6400 Allendale.
So it looks like tests will be with the 6800 to keep you happy![]()
