I will replace my current Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherbord, OCZ 2GB PC2-4200 RAM and Intel E6700 processor, with a new Asus P5W DH Deluxe motherboard, OCZ 2GB PC2-5400 RAM and an Intel E6850 CPU.

If my new motherboard doesn't have the 2103 bios installed by Asus, can I bootup my system with my Intel E6850 processor to flash the bios with Alt+F2 method?

Second question, does anyone have a changelog of the revisions of the Asus P5W DH Delxue motherboard?

Revision 1.04G is the latest one?

Perhaps you should hang onto the E6700 a while as a fallback...
    P5W DH Deluxe 1.02G
Q9450 @ various settings like underclocked to 2.32Ghz until a good BIOS comes along...

FWIW I managed to boot and update the BIOS when installing a Q6600 on a new P5W just this week. I got the micro-code error, but it posted and allowed me into BIOS. EZ Flash didn't work, but Alt-F2 did the trick. I was relieved as I didn't have another socket 775 CPU kicking around if it hadn't worked.
