Ok now I'm annoyed; ClubIT is losing credibility
with me. When I pre-ordered a G0 a couple of
days ago on the 30th the rep. told me there were
~25 standing preorders, and that they'd NEVER yet gotten in a G0 Q6600.

I asked if it was their standard practice to actually
physically receive / manage their stock of CPUs
when CPU orders were fulfilled, and that's how
they'd be able to tell when they got in G0
CPUs, and guarantee their shipment to people.
The rep. said yes, that's how they did it.

Now I find out that someone on another forum
ordered 6 CPUs from them on the 25th without
specially requesting any stepping and they got
5 G0 Q6600s and 1 B3 Q6600.

So obviously they *have* gotten in G0s in
the past contrary to what I was told.

If they weren't even aware they'd sold them
in the recent past (during which time people
HAD existing unfulfilled G0 specific preorders),
this leads me to question whether they even
physically receive / look at their ordered CPUs,
which also raises the question how they plan
to guarantee a G0 for the people who *do*
have G0 preorders. I suppose if they just sit
on the G0 preorders for a week or more they're
almost guaranteed to sell G0s since by that time
the supply of B3 will be dried up, but this is NOT
the plan/technique they led me to believe would
occur.

Has anyone recently ordered a Q6600 CPU from
ClubIT and received it? If so, what did you get,
when did you order, and did you express any
preference for one stepping or the other?
