I'd like to be able to run my memory on the 1:1 or 5:6 divider so I can use the 1333 strap which means I need 520+ FSB

Whats the difference in performance between the 1333 and 1066 straps when it comes to the memory dividers?

there is a trade off between being able to run at 1066...generally, you are going to get higher memory bandwidth with the 1066 strap over the 1333 strap...but...the 1333 strap will allow higher FSB and memory Mhz.

On the 4:5 divider (1:1.25 setting), a TCL lower than 5 will cause Standby not to work (you go into Standby, try to bring it back out and the computer hangs). If I use 1:1, the problem goes away. Obviously it is a problem with the 4:5 divider and TCL. Hopefully Abit can fix it.

i think very few people use standby...you might be better off emailing Abit about the problem through their "BlackBox" program.

I'd like to post some findings I just found

Using this vcore measurement point (credit to shimmishim)

I measured my vcore while it was set to 1.61v in bios

    My results

    Idle
    Uguru - 1.42v switching to 1.56v
    DMM - 1.45 switching to 1.47 rapidly

    Load - Tested using Prime95 25.3
    Uguru - 1.56v
    DMM - 1.589v (1024k FTT length ) and 1.579 (8k FTT length)

This means uguru could be reporting incorrect voltages for some of us and that we may be getting closer our BIOS values under load than we may think, especially Ace-a-rue at 1.63v

Anyone else care to give this a check?

i already checked that point and it was spot on with uguru....i presume each board will waffle differently and could be the reason for success or better success.

that way low undershoot with 1.61v set in the bios tells me you either have a regulation problem with the board or PSU...have you measured what the PSU is giving you to the board and cpu for the 12V rail, and also, the 5V rail?

Man do I feel like a newb, I forgot I had to clear cmos after some unbootable settings that restarting the mobo couldn't save and forgot to redisable EIST and C1E Now when I measure with my DMM I get very close to the voltage I set via BIOS, and I can probably get past that 520mhz barrier now

Is there a way to disable USB ports during boot? I ask because I have a controller I use for racing games and such and whenever it is plugged in it takes about 10 times as long to boot.

Sure!...under "Intergrated Peripherals"...you will find the USB controller...you can disable it from there either under PCI devices or Onchip PCI devices.

No using the Tuniq 120, but I run at stock 30C idle. I'm at 3.6 now with the posted settings running Orthos at 50-51C.

    Is something wrong?

you will or can hit 4Ghz but it probably won't be as stable as you would like...i think 3.8 to 3.85 is more realistic...the Tuniq is not the best HS out there...the Ultra Xtreme is the best one at the moment.

stick close to what Crucial recommends (the maximum)....for instances, some ram can be given high voltage like 2.3 to 2.4v...but for most scenarios, you will only need 2.1 to 2.2.
