yahh my dfi 680i board's digital pwm runs extremely hot and theres the same amount of vdroop as on every other board ive used. its really a horrible idea unless you have a huge ass heatsink to cool it which the board didnt come with and nor is one avaible to purchase.
The 6-phase digital PWM solution on the 680LT that DFI used was insufficient and poorly thought out. They have upgraded it to an 8-phase this time around which should run cooler and be able to handle the heavy load of an overclocked quad-core.
