Max DIMM is 3V but if you have an overzealous PSU and it'll warn you at 3.6. Seems a silly warning though since 3V will give you toasty chips

What's people got their Quad cores to? I'm currently running 465FSB on a zalman 9700 air but I can't load the damn thing because it reaches 80+ within about 10secs according to uguru :/

i have mine to 450 but i can't prime all 4 cores...maybe one core! ...now...if i drop the FSB down to 435, i can then prime all four cores.

I have one of these boards coming from Abit later next week. It looks like it is going to scream with my quad under LN2/dri ice. I won't have time to insulate and bench it til the Ultra's arrive the following week...

We'll see what it can do...

I picked up this RAM kit on a hot deal last month:
    Newegg Link

Am I going to have trouble OC'ing a Q6600 on this board with that kit? Is their a divider I can use to keep the RAM speed down?

There are no dividers per se, they are actually multipliers (5:6, 2:3, etc.)

you can always use 1:1 which matches your FSB clock for clock.

i presume you can reach at least 420-430 FSB, maybe more...from there, you can try other memory ratio's for higher clock on the memory.

go with the latest "B04" beta bios and flash the boot block ("wb" switch) to ensure you have all the strap parameters set correctly.

I have noticed this as well, but have no problem overclocking. Running 412fsb now. Totally stable.

follow this flash procedure that i posted back in this thread about 10 days ago...my procedure will assure proper flashing of your boot block on your board in addition to the normal bios area to ensure the correct parameters are set...just to give you a little insight into the boot block...i finally flashed mine after seeing sub-par results from PCMark 2005 compared to my Abit QuadGT...once i re-flashed the bios and boot block with the same bios file, my board scored 600 points higher in PCMark 2005 bench...nothing changed with my hardware; just flashed the boot block...normally, the boot block is not flashed unless bios file is updating that area.

it might have been my board having a some what corrupted boot block and my re-flashing it got it back on track...you might not see any better results..i suggest that you run PCMark 2005 before flashing to get your baseline score and then go ahead with the flash...re-set all the same parameters and then re-run PCMark 2005 to see if you are better off...it was for me!

i have 9136 Dominators and i top out at 540...but, part of my problem is running a Q6600...i am thinking an E6600 or E6400 would allow a higher clock on the FSB and memory side.

i hit 540 Mhz on the memory with the shipping bios...future updates did not change that number.
