On one of my xeon setups I have D20L#4 will not upload over 1100 cands. Have tried manual upload several times. All others uploaded. Any fixes for this?

Try and UL the resultsqueue.dat file from another agent... that works for me sometimes when an agent refuses to UL pointage.

I just check and EVERYTHING seems to be up and running... you would register a D2OL account here. http://app.d2ol.com/memberServices/createMember.jsp

I think he means when the software asks for your e-mail address to register. I am pretty sure at this point that you don't have a node number. So, unless you have a node.prp laying around on another machine, you're kinda humped. I'm having that problem too. I can't even ping configure.d2ol.com...it get the IP from DNS, but then it just times out. I'll re-try tomorrow.

Yep, i had the same problem last night. It is still down afaik.

I had a node.prp from my old install and thats what I wanted anywase.

BUMP!

Ok well after about 8 hours today this A64 had only racked up 12 cands and was going extremely slow on each conf. I decided to upload the one's I did and flushed the tasks, now it's downloaded new ones it is going much faster. Anyone know the cause of the problem? as I don't want it to be stuck on slow cands while I can't check up on it.

Hey guys, Any idea how you install 2 instances on Mac OSX? I've done it on windows but if I try on OSX it just tells me that its already installed...

Hey guys, just installed D2OL on my Conroe rig, but can't get DBench to work. I did standard install (i.e., paths) for both D2OL and DBench. DBench just quits whne I hit enter.

Did you copy both 'DockWin.exe' and 'GridWin.exe' into the DBench folder before starting it?
Also, you can start it by doubleclicking DBench.exe, but you won't be able to read any error messages from DBench unless you start it from the commandline

Oh, and since I am folding on this rig too, I've set the affinity to CPU 0, and the F@H client to CPU 1. Is that bueno?

Edit: It definitely likes both cores to itself. With F@H GPU client running, 137 seconds. With F@H paused, 114.

Just use a copy of those two files to put in the DBench folder, that way you don't have to put them back

Well folding will occupy 100% of your CPU, so running another project will lead to CPU time being fought over and reduce your efficiency.

other programs that can be run side by side with little to no effect on Folding would be DIMES,MJ12,BeWeS,WhatPulse,Project Dolphin.

as those use either bandwidth or mouse/keyboard tracking.

Anyway, not knowing anything about the project, I decided to just give it a shot and work it out on my way.

Download both installers, the Java version has some installation error, (probably due to the Java version included with D2OL is older than my current.

Then with the other installer, I get to the last step, where it installs the uninstaller and it just stops...

There are a few weird things though.

During setup where the installation shows you how much space the app will use and how much drive space you have, My drive space capacity appears as 'Error'?

How do I get this working

I was having the same problem yesterday.
I had to install D2OL on a older machine running XP copy the directory to the new machines, changing the name of the directories accordingly.

and all is working fine now.

I restarted my D2OL machine & the agent icon is no longer on the taskbar, and i cant figure out how to get it back. Dockwin is running, but i cant see whats going on. What do i do?

Edit - i think i got it sorted, i ran the 'd20L service remover' and it has restored the tray icon and its running like i wanted.
