We also need to remember that with K10 CPU this chipset will be conserving power together with CPU when in PowerSaving mode. Simply when K10 will shut down half of HT bus due to low usage, other end of the bus (RD790) will also conserve power. It's kinda 2 birds at one stone .


Oh man things like that make deciding between Q6600 in a few weeks or waiting till K10 very hard! Dropping the power consumption by that much will help out immensly at night when I dont want to sweat in my sleep, sep in the winter time when I welcome it.







Will we ever have Pci-e 16/16 buses? Seems all I ever see is 16/4 and 8/8 :/
