Kris, its called "marketing" and they have a "sense of humor". Not only that, they are "in touch" with the "enthusiasts".

I too am disgraced, the 8800 is a great product we all know it.

680 chipset? A real mixed bag full of a multitude of stunts to get it to actually work, and it''s still not that great.

Yes it is marketing, but who really wants to be left with no choice but to run an nvidia chipset for sli?

An enthusiast wants choice first and foremost, we have already seen nvidia yellow stripe themselves over the 10% performance boost in sli on the X38, then pulling sli support from Intel.

As an enthusiast this did not make me happy, don't you agree?

Let's cut the spin for once, not worrying too much about our sponsors, if we REALLY DO care that is...

This is why motherboard companies are struggling big time, especially tier b manufacs... Making them use low level chipsets is actually killing them off, when users blame them for issues related to the chipset that are nigh on impossible to fix at the bios level...

I am inclined that they were meant as a joke...........take it as that and move on, even if you don't like Nvidia for what ever reason, no need to get all righteous over freaking JELLY BEANS....................come on guys........we have better things to argue about.

it's not about getting in a knot man, it's about the truth, nothing wrong with that at all... Sometimes things get covered up, some don't care and see it as part of business, others like to know what's what.. I don't hate Nvidia, I run 8800's, but I was disappointed heavily they pulled sli support on Intel due to greater performance..

It's one thing going with the flow of business, but not voicing how the community could really be given a choice is just a cop out..

They know from both sides that we want SLI on Intel, I know the key people involved are well aware.

Right now, the 680i is a good choice in desktop chipsets and its main attraction is SLI.

I am amused and enjoying the gift, I am surprised they took the time to put together the nice package for me and I was more than happy to start this thread to show off my overclocking vitamins.

"In touch" would also count with the K|ngp|n video, harmless fun for us all to enjoy. We see they respect Vinces efforts and take good care of him as they should. Vince is top notch and gets respect from us all.

It's funny for sure, but fcg speaks the truth really, nvidia don't realise they would sell more video cards than they are selling 680i's atm if they allowed Intel an sli license, I guess...

Im running two kits, does that count for plural?

They sell them in bulk at candy stores. If you have a mall close you should be able to locate the flavor. They are good and very addictive.
