Under $80 for a PSU is fine for a 3.5GHz AMD. They don't use that much power.

Paying some extra bucks to make sure that you get quality isn't bad!

Believe what you want man. I had an Opty 165 @ 3.0 (1.5v), 8800GTX clocked to 621/1566/1026, five or six fans, HDD, two optical drives, and water pump running on a 535w Enermax PSU.. and it ran damn well. And oh gee, look at the price

Um.. congratulations? I would expect it to be stable with that PSU.. I would also expect it to be stable with any good 400+ watt power supply. I don't know what the hell is wrong with people overestimating how much power their rig needs, seriously it probably pulls 250-300 watts at load

    Quit spreading BS

edit: Anything off of this list is fine.

I trust this man's opinions on power supplies more than anyone else's.
