OK, I see. Yeah I guess the water would eventually make it through both sets of jets. Man, would I love to see this tested on a system with a quad core, and then swapped out with either a Fuzion or a GTX. Hmm.. maybe something to try after I get my second pump installed.

I wonder why they didn't just shoot the input thru both sets and then out? Is this a parallel vs series thing again? It just seems that with leakage etc, the second jet is going to get less pressure/flow. Still the proofs in the pudding. Let's see a test!

Jet's aren't idiot proof, but then again, neither are mini-pin designs with gaps between the pins that are no larger than the jets sizes on a Storm, or one of these blocks.

Take your pick. Either design type will clog up if the user is careless. Been running the same water in my system for 30 months now (2.5yrs), and have a G7 installed with 0.5mm diameter jets, and have yet to see a single clogged jet.

Take the time to do it right first time, and it'll save you a ton of grief down the road.

Those blocks really have nothing at all to do with any of my designs. I consider them to be a fairly distinct design. Yes, they use jet-impingment (JI), but in a far less focused fashion.

In essence, they are not too different from an Apogee GTX or a Fuzion, in terms of pin sizing, but these blocks have the added benefit of JI action. Still, that's no firm guarantees as you can mess up JI, and if they're too restrictive then flow rates can suffer to the point that the JI effect is offering no benefits.

If it's for installation on a S775 CPU, really it's more about who has the better mechanical mounting solution for the CPU. The actual waterblock design appears to be somewhat secondary to having a good mechanical mount due to the flaws in S775.

Just went to Sharka Computers to check this block out. It doesn't seem to come with fittings to accommodate 1/2" ID tubing. Can someone confirm this please?

AC blocks normally come with out fittings.

To use this block with 1/2" you need to make sure that you purchase the G1/4" version and then any normal G1/4 > 1/2" barb will fit for example the EK barbs are a good fit on these.

@Aqua-PC - Do you all ship to the US? If so do you have this with G1/4?

    Thanks

That was exactly my concern from seeing the pics. I sure hope it's well done what with all the class A machining they did on the nozzle block.

Sharka doesn't put anything new on their website till they have confirmation that the goods are shipping. They do this because the previous AC dealer here in the USA used to put new stuff on their website, takes orders, money, and not deliver. Also sometime AC says they are going to make stuff and then later don't. For example they said this would be available last year and never produced it!

If I can get my hands on a G1\4 I am going to give it a shot. I went from an FX-55 to a Opteron 185 Dual Core & still using the Storm Rev.2. I know the D-Tek Fusion or the Apogee GTX have been proven to work well with dual core cpu's, but this block looks like it will work well also. A $90 gamble I know.

Do you think this would work with the d-tek fuzion mounting screws? If so, maybe I'll get a G1/4 version and slap it on to compare it to the fuzion.

On a side note is there anymore news about the fuzion nozzles? It might be cool to compre this against the nozzled versin too.
