Thread: Celeron 430 @ 3ghz vs FX-57 @ 3160mhz , the new Celeron rocks

    Some results:

    Prime -

    3000MHz stock Vcore

    3300MHz ~ 1.37V

    SuperPI 1M -

    3420MHz 1.43V 19.861s

    It seems that this CPU has a FSB limitation at ~ 385MHz, can't reach 35xxMHz.
    PC : Asrock Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 + Intel Core i5 i2500k + 2 x Asus HD6870 DirectCU + 2x2GB PC12800 G.Skill Eco 7-8-7-24 + Creative X-Fi Titanium PCIe + Scythe Mugen 3.
    Digicam : Pentax *istDL2 + Pentax smc DA 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 AL + Cosina F3.5/100mm Makro.
    Heimkino : Samsung LE-46B450 FullHD + Arion AF-4000HDCI + Onkyo TX-SR505E + Quadral Quintas 5.0 + Heco Victa 25A.

    this screen is with P5K Vanilla

    and i used the Intel cooler box and 1.45v

    Are those Ballistix Fatbodies? I wonder if my problems with P5K are a result of using my Fatbodies?!

    Update with screenshots.









    3DMark '01 looks a little bit slower then on a 1MB L2-Cache A64.



    Can't push the CPU higher, maybe it is a fsb limitation of the CPU himself, or my Fatbodies work on P5K as bad as on P5B..

    any one can change the multiplier ?
    then my P5B Dlx seems can't good manage the CPU Vcore

    What batch u have and how high can u clock for some SPi stuff?

    Solarfall, i'll be joining you on that 440 Will be ordering mine this week sometime although i might have to look at getting a new mobo as well inorder to get anything decent done with it... (and then the saga begins )

    there was a single core Merom based Celeron M 430 (and 420 and such)

    the best that i was able to do was 3.8ghz with water... well you probably remember it
